These are the end products formulated by the digital tools used to create the analysis of the text from both published and unpublished letters written by soldiers. This project came from work and study done within a "Digital Histories" course at Clemson University. This set of letters incorporates about 33 letters in total. This is from my own personal letter collection. The following are the graphs of the core word frequencies of 'war' and 'home.' The relative frequency is the percentage that the word appears in each letter. The dates of the letters appear on the bottom. Some collections have a multitude of letters and the dates are grouped tightly. Please visit the case study on the Blog for more information.
